Description

Rasinja, once the estate of the noble family Inkey de Pallin, is a perfect place to rest and an oasis from the stress that we are increasingly looking for in these modern times. Part of the feudal park has a romantic design, and it was created in the first half of the 19th century. It has remained preserved to this day and consists of old trees south of the castle, lakes, ice houses, and old box hedges. The parish church of Sv. Križ [St. Cross] is located in the park where there is an aristocratic graveyard where the Inkey family members are buried.

In the village, there are the remains of the ancient town of Rasinja and traces of the templar town of Opoj on Budim hill above the lake. Rich in vegetation with gorgeous colors and fragrances, the well cared for Rasinja lake is suitable for swimming and fishing, and the bird song and noisy schools of fish or capital carp make this an irresistible place for tourists looking for some peace and beautiful natural surroundings.

Fishing on the lake is a type of catch and release for all species of fish except "babuška" and "patuljan". Fishing permits are daily and can be purchased at the Centar store in Rasinja.
