Eco village Kuzminec - recreation center
Description
The Eco-village Kuzminec Association was founded on May 17, 2002. with the aim of improving the quality of life in the countryside, preserving the cultural heritage, and the desire to reduce the outflow of population from the countryside. The program of the association is also supported by the Koprivnica-Križevci County.
During its existence, the association has managed to greatly change the image of Kuzminac. She turned the neglected and undeveloped land into a recreation center "STARI FAROF".
The complex consists of sports courts for tennis and beach volleyball and is arranged near the parish church, on land owned by the Diocese of Varaždin, which the diocese ceded to the association Eco-village Kuzminec for use and storage, both land and buildings of the old parish court.
In addition to a tennis court and a beach volleyball court, the association plans to build some more courts, and also plans to professionally renovate the old parish court near the court, which dates back to the Baroque period.
