In the small village of Gola, in the heart of Prekodravlje in Croatia, is situated Gallery Ivan Večenaj. Gallery has expanded in 2007 and now in a representative area of 250m2, you can see a large number of paintings oil on glass and canvas, as well as drawings and watercolors museum’s worth which Ivan Večenaj preserved for future generations as well as a large number of photos of his life. Croatian Naive artist Ivan Večenaj – Tišlarov was born on May 18th, 1920 in the village Gola located between the river Drava and the Hungarian border in the so-called Prekodravlje, in a peasant family, the first child of six brothers.
Gallery-museum offers its visitors an insight into 50 years of creativity of Ivan Večenaj – Tišlarov and Croatian naive art. Gallery also offers purchase original watercolors, reproductions, prints, and souvenirs for visitors and fans of Croatian Naive Art.
